Wonderful Wednesday!

Today I have a little project to share with you. With spring fever in the air I thought a pretty little wreath and happy card were the perfect little something to start welcoming spring in all it's glory. For the wreath I took silk flower stems and entwined them together and then added a few different bloom varieties and added a ribbon to hang it by. The card features some new round blooms and is in pretty spring colors. All the blooms are available at the Paper Blooms shop, HERE.

What are you doing to get ready for spring? Spring cleaning hasn't hit me yet, but I'm sure it will soon! Next week is our very first challenge with the DT!! We are all super excited and hope you come join in the fun. Have a wonderful day, and remember, make it extra special.

Introducing the Paper Blooms Design Team!!

I am so thrilled to introduce you to the very talented ladies that will be designing for the Paper Blooms Etsy shop and challenge blog! Each lady has a unique style all her own and I can't wait for them to start designing with my blooms and inspiring you. With no further ado here they are:

My husband and I have been married for ten wonderful years. I have a darling daughter. I also enjoy two wonderful canine friends and companions - our dogs Raisin and Muffin. Of course I am very ADDICTED to my therapy program of CONSTANT Scrapbooking!!!! I have always been crafty, but over the last few years I have taken up a passion for scrapbooking and altered paperworks.

Hello! I'm so blessed to be part of this team. I am an Army wife to my awesome husband of almost 10 years. I am a stay at home-schooling mom to my 2 loves, C & I. I became really involved in scrapping last spring when a friend introduced me to digi scrapping. After this I stumbled upon a cardmaking blog that so inspired me, I took the dive into cardmaking. I love all aspects of this art and am always yearning to learn more. I look forward to being inspired by what all you create and hope you can do the same.

I am a Christian, homeschooling, mother of 2, and military wife to an amazing man for almost 10 years. We have lived in Georgia for 4 1/2 years, but I call Nebraska my home state. I am a graduate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Management major, but am so thankful that God has blessed me to be able to stay at home. I have been seriously stamping for about 6 years now, and I love to inspire and be inspired.

I live in a town called Normal, where I’m a teacher, writer, wife, mom to a furry baby, and lover of all things paper crafty. I was first introduced to the world of paper crafts through a Stampin’ Up workshop in 2004, and I’ve been a full-blown addict ever since! My style is mostly clean and simple, and I firmly believe that a girl can never have too many rhinestones or ribbons. I’m so excited about creating with the Paper Blooms Design Team!

I'm a mom to one, beautiful 26 year old daughter and 4 kitties. I'm engaged to a wonderful guy who thankfully supports my craziness of paper crafting .I started out scrapbooking about 15 years ago, then discovered card making about 3 years ago . I love pretty paper and pretty embellishments and just get so much relaxation out of creating. My style is the shabby , vintage look and I always incorporate the use of my Cricut cutting machine on all my creations.I'm also on the design team for Regina Easter over at BittenByTheBug and am so thrilled Leah has also chosen me to be on her design team.

I am the owner of the little Etsy shop, Paper Blooms. I started the shop and this blog because I wanted to provide a unique product for papercrafters and have a place to showcase them for inspiration.I am a stay at home mom to 2 miracles and happily married for nearly 10 years to my wonderfully supportive husband who totally "gets" my scrappy additction. I have been artsy all my life and have always had a love affair with paper and all things pretty, so when I discovered scrapbooking and card making I was hooked for good! I've been crafting seriously for the past 2 years and only love it more. I hope we inspire you!

How about a fabulous give away to help us celebrate?! I am giving away a set of 12 of my beautiful blooms and 3 pearl stick pins to one lucky person. Here's how to enter the drawing.

Click on any of the DT members name to be taken to their personal blog, leave them a comment, come back here and leave a comment saying which team member you visited. For each DT member you visit, leave a comment, and comment back here your name will be entered 1 extra time. You have until Sunday, March 15th to enter. I will randomly draw a winner and announce here on the blog Monday, the 16th, so make sure you come back to see if you won! So go get some blog hopping done and say congrats to my wonderful DT!

DT Call Now Closed

I have had a wonderful response with nearly 40 applications sent to me! Thank you SO much for applying and expressing such interest in coming beside me in this endeavor. I am going to begin emailing the few of you that I am asking to join me on my team today, so please be watching for that. I'll need a response from you saying you accept or not with in 24 hours or I'll need to choose someone else.

For all the talented ladies I am unable to have come on the team, please know that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your application and browsing your blog and that I have actually lost sleep over this decision! I have applied for many DT's myself and have not gotten picked...it's a disappointment for sure but being on the other side I can see why it's hard for the one that's choosing. Please don't give up trying and if all goes well in this pursuit I will be looking for more people to join me.

I do hope that you will all stick around to join us in the blog challenges and will be inspired. Thanks again and you'll meet the new team Monday!
