Paper Blooms Challenge #9- Emboss Resist

Thank you to all who joined us last week with their fabulous Red, White and Blue cards and projects. I hope you all had a lovely holiday if it was one for you:)

*NOTE: I don't know what is going on with Mr.Linky, but I am unable to get it to load. So if you'd all be so kind as to link up in the comments section. Thanks so much!*

Be sure to check Rose's blog as she will draw and announce the winner of her generous give away.

Now on to this week! Our challenge this week is to make a project that uses the emboss resist technique. For a lot of us this was the first time we had tried it and it was fun and the results inspiring!

We also have another guest designer who will be joining us for the next 2 weeks. Introducing Tracy Schultz.
I'm an IT specialist by day and crafter by night. If I'm not making cards, learning how to scrapbook, or making a pair of earrings, then you can usually find me on the volleyball court spiking up a storm. I'm always "doing" something and rarely sit still (except when I'm crafting). I love hopping on my bike and pedaling out into the country to enjoy the scenery and change of pace. I'm also a gardener and in the spring/summer/fall I have to be dragged away from the peace of my gardens.

This week we not only have a guest designer to inspire you further, but a give away from our very own Shelly! So make sure you play with us this week:)

The challenge this week is to use ribbon, trim, or lace as a main focal point on your card, LO, or other project. Let's see you get all wrapped up! And here is what one lucky randomly drawn participant will be given. Thanks Shelly! Now, prepare to be inspired by the lovely DT's creations.

Our guest designer for the next 2 weeks has been a regular participant and does lovely work. Introducing Rose Miller.

Hello, my name is Rose and I am very excited to be Paper Blooms first guest designer. I am blessed with a wonderful husband of two years. We have two spoiled rotten “fur babies” that are always “helping” me create cards. My love for card making began just over six months ago and now I can not go a day without making at least one card.
