Thank You!

I want to extend a huge thank you to all of you who have joined in our challenges over these last few months and to the awesome DT who gave us all so much inspiration for each challenge.

This will be the last challenge here for Paper Blooms at this time. I feel that for now it's run it's course and I think we all had a lot of fun:) Perhaps in the future I will re-open it, but for now it is good-bye.

I wanted to end on a happy note though, so our last challenge is about thankfulness. Use the work thankful, thanks, thank you or the like somewhere on your project.

Again, THANK YOU for making Paper Blooms a fun challenge blog. And now our amazing DT:

Monochromatic

Good Wednesday to you all! I'm a little late today, but have lots to share with you:) First let's get right to our featured artist. You all did fabulous creations with the sketch and this super cute card by Hazel is our featured pick! Go visit her blog here.

We also have a guest designer for the next 2 challenges. Please welcome Michelle, and here is a little about her.
I am a 52 year old married woman with two grown daughters and three delightful grandchildren all of whom I absolutely adore, I am nothing without them. I have been in the Australian Army for 6 years and was with the Queensland Police Service for 10 years and also worked for the Queensland Education department and I took time out to be a SAHM to look after my two daughters. Late last year I was forced to resign from my job in the Disability field due to workplace bullying and it really made me think what I wanted for myself. I decided that I no longer wanted to work for anyone and decided to start my own business using the art of rubberstamps, Off the Page projects, journals, teaching etc. I did a small business management course and am now living my dream. It is hard because it has been slow to get started but I will hold out and stick with it. I have been making cards for over 20 years on and off and about two years ago I became a Stampin" Up! demonstrator. Once I got my blog up and running I wanted traffic to visit and my daughter told me to put myself out there so I looked at challenge blogs and Paper Blooms amongst a few others just appealed to me. I have met some beautiful women through doing challenges and there are quite a few I now regard as friends with a couple of special friends (they know who they are) that I chat to regularly. Thanks Leah for giving me an opportunity to be a guest designer for Paper Blooms.

On to the next challenge! We are going monochromatic. Have a look at your inspiring DT creations!

We have a guest designer for this week too, Nikki Love. A little about her:

Hello. My name is Nikki Love-Salinas and I'm from South Carolina. I am "Wife" to a wonderful man named Victor and "Mama" to six beautiful children ranging from ages 20 to 4. I am a Correction Officer by night and an avid scrapper by day. I am also the owner of Touched By Love Florist and La Pasadita Restaurant. I have been scrapping for about 20 years now but avidly scrapping for 10 years. My style is linear with a touch of freestyle. I am a designer at Pages In Time http://pagesintimestoresite.ning.com/ and love participating in forum and blog challenges.
